Thanks much for this one - its actually more helpful than the tutorials using newer pro gear. While many of us aspire to become better photographers and upgrade to newer and better gear, I suspect most viewers just have a 5+ year old Canon Rebel. Tutorials and/or just side-tips for users of older/entry level gear are more helpful to the majority of DSLR owners out there who will never go pro, but just want to know how to take better photos with what they have.

Nice video. Never hurts to see a refresher. Digital definitely offers an edge with preview! Around 4:30 I’d just like to mention that a 4ft white reflector like the one behind Vanessa could be used as a bounce just like the white card (use a light stand or a friend to hold it). The difference would be a larger, softer, circular source. Great for when no walls are in sight.
