Iota will disappointed everyone just because is not enough advertised by professionals who really understand the power and possibility of this project. Simply just because iota transactions are (free) and the more transactions more faster they come.
But also do not promise to much.

I thought the issue with the funding was that they are a non-profit. With their new company (not sure if this is the right term tbh) in Switzerland they will be more flexible to sell tokens on market highs when they don't have to immediately use the funds they receive.

... fails to deliver in jan/feb... what do you mean? ShimmerVM is expected in jan/feb on Public Testnet. Apr/Jun in Shimmmer mainnet, does that adhere to your expectations?

IF selling IOTAs every in amount of 140.000$ per day, just to survive? its like 4.3mln per month. I wish to see their salaries. If we assume that IF has 200 members its like 21000 salaries for month each. Not sure how they manage to survive with such small ones. In fact I heavily doubt that they still have so many members at IF, so they have bigger salaries?! :))
By the way, not investing in to IOTA long time already, as nothing is delivered that could change peoples minds to jump in and do stuff. After Shimmer EVM we will see how many out there are interested in to it, and how many out there will actually build something decent. And i mean finished products, so that it would be possible to use them, as those magic tales about "massive stuff being build in background, but sorry we cannot tell who and what" dont impress anyone anymore. In fact I personally dont believe EVM will change anything much, as most reasonable people waiting for coordicide anyway. It might be that on EVM release market will go for another bull run, but that doesn't mean that it is EVM job, as all coins will go up anyway.
