Two survive plane crash in Sydney’s southwest

A 37-year-old pilot and his 34-year-old female passenger have miraculously survived a light plane crash in Sydney’s southwest.

Police were called to Bossley Park at around 2:30 in the afternoon after reports a light aircraft had plummeted into a tree.

The two were treated on the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

Not good to have those planes flying over an urbanised area. I’ve seen them very often crowding the sky about Bankstown, sometimes very close one another. Disaster is a matter of time. This accident is only a warning. It could be worse.
