Bob and Forest Gallien from Gallien-Krueger go through a complete overview of the Legacy Series Heads. Covering every aspect of the amps, from tone controls to construction features. The goal of this video was to demonstrate not only the best way to approach setting up your Legacy head out of the box, but to also cover what each function and feature on the amp does. This is the most comprehensive video about the Legacy Heads and a great starting place for anyone who owns a Legacy Head or is thinking about purchasing one. This video can also be applied to the Legacy Series Combos, which use the exact same power amp and preamp as the Legacy 800. Probably the best amp demo I've ever seen. Great work. Making me want to go back to GK after many years away.

So amazing to see the actual owner and head of the company do a video like this. Bob Gallien is a true electrical genius and after all these years, his dedication to the sound is still evident. Ever since I discovered GK amps a few years ago, I'm GK for life. I have the 4x10 Legacy combo and I could not be happier. Perfect tone. More power than I'll ever need. Built like a tank. Bonus that it looks tough as hell. #GKallday

The best amp company ever! I've had experience with many GK products in the past and they all sounded stellar! Always built as a tank!

This head is amazing! After using it for two weeks and playing on stage with a reggae band and three different rock bands, this amp blew away all my expectations! The punch and GK tone are all there in a small, light and mighty package. Thank you Bob, Forrest, and all the crew at GK for developing a phenomenal product!

I can see Mr. Gallien is very proud of this product and he should be. Looks like a lot of thought is put into his products and they built a beauty here. Great explanation of how it works, straight from the horse's mouth! My 400RB is still happily cranking among. GK, best sounding bass heads out there!

Great video, thanks. After years of using various other brands I have bought a Legacy 115 combo which is a great piece of equipment. Very impressive indeed. This is a very informative and helpful video, thank you.

Very nice demo Bob and Forest. I have been playing bass since 1969. Picked up my first GK in the 80's, I don't remember the model. Later I bought an RB-400iii with a Backline 115 and Backline 410 cabs. I played that setup for probably 13 or 14 years. I'm 68 now and can't haul that much gear anymore. About 12 years ago I bought a used 115 Backline combo for band practice, it never failed me. Several years ago I bought a MB 115-II from Sweetwater which is plenty for gigs and I use the direct out to the PA and only 38 lbs it's easy to haul around. I would really like to get the Fusion 115 or Legacy 212 but being on a fixed retirement income now will be hard to come up with that kind of scratch. I have nothing but positive things to say about the four GK amps I've had over the years. Thank you so much for a superior product!

Very helpful and very timely for me, I just bought a Legacy 1200 and am trying to better understand the amp. Thanks very much!

Great stuff, nice to hear all that manufacturing stuff. The eq really sounds nice. And a usable overdrive too.

The Fusion version is the best amp I’ve ever owned in the class d style amps. The trim knob and voicings make balancing with and with out a pedal board easier.

this is a excellent demo! given by the guy who designs it!

I own an 800rb and i was curious as to whether the "boost" control is the overdrive in question because i have never pushed it enough to hear anything but clean from it without the addition of pedals, also you guys were fantastic at answering my questions about the 800rb when i called. Instant on hand info about a product from 30+ years ago, amazing!

I appreciate how well you demonstrate how your products work. I just recently purchased a GK Fusion 210. Can you make a video on that? I feel like there is alot I can learn on it. Thanks!

This is a great overview! As a recent GK buyer of the Fusion S, something like this is very helpful. Any idea when the Fusion version of this will be out? I'm having a hard time figuring out all the controls, especially with the push button toggles. No one else seems to be able to explain it well.

I absolutely LOVE my 700RB, but (now that I'm older) it's a bit too big and heavy. This looks like the perfect solution.
