We run the Fusion S Series heads through multiple genres, playing styles, and basses to show off its unlimited tone potentials. Please listen with headphones for the best experience and let us know which sound you like best!

The Fusion S Series Heads are GK’s brand new Class D Model heads with a tube preamp. The rich warmth of tubes combined with the quick, punchy power section that GK bass amps are known for is an experience like no other. These high powered heads incorporate three 12ax7 tubes in the preamp, including one dedicated to the overdrive channel, making it GK’s first ever tube driven overdrive channel. Illuminated knobs add an extra level of sophistication and design by not only making it easier to dial in your tone on stage and but adding a beautiful stage presence as well. Each illuminated knob is also push activated, with additional voicing filters and tonal characteristics built in.

that Heavy Clean tone is one of the best bass tones I've ever heard

I had a GK head years back and loved it. Regrettably, I sold it. I found one like it online at 5 am and snagged it before someone else did. Now, I find this video. At 37 seconds, I began to drool over this head.

Great demo once again! Love to see Forest perform those demos, he's a great player and great choice of basses.

Also loved that part at 3:24, emulating that Tame Impala tone but slightly altering the bassline in order not to get copyrighted hehe.

Great job, happy to say I'm part of the GK family. :)

Nice demo, good showcase of different tones, different Basses, and different styles. And great that you show the settings for each sound example. Nice work! 😎👍
Seems pretty versatile 🤘

I've been waiting to get the Fusion 550. Glad I did, gotta have one of these. The only bass head I'll ever need.

Nice. You guys _basically_ covered all the _bases_ in terms of playing styles in this vid - that's rare for most demos these days.

Oh, this amp sounds AWESOME btw. I own a Fusion 550 and it's a beast, but I hope to one day own one of these guys.

Wow!!! GK is killer!!! Love the new Fusion heads! Ordered GK 4x12 Neo cab and it should be here any day now. Can't wait to here it. Use to have the 700rb and wish like heck I wouldn't have got rid of it. Playing through Mesa Boogie Subway d800+ now and love it but will also be getting the GK Fusion 800. Keep up the absolutely awesome work GK!!! You guys are awesome! 🤘😁

Great demo of a great, versatile amp.

This amp sounds great! That clean grit finger style is what I'm looking for. I figured there would be some reviews or other videos on this amp by now, but I can't find anything. No one has the amp in stock near me, so I'm counting on some other sources of info before dropping that kind of money on it. I keep checking every month but so far, nothing.

Based on this video though, this thing is it!

Motown round and funky fingerstyle are my favorites.

I want one of these. It's way more than my limit on gear but I think I'll make an exception.

I just have to say that I made three purchases based on this demonstration.

Great video.

Some of the smoothest bass players I have ever heard!!!!

Not only did I purchase a GK 212 neo cab.

I also got the fusion 1200 amp head.

I was fascinated with the different bass selection.

I am a new bass player, i’ve had my Sandberg about two weeks now.

I was trying to figure out if I wanted a fender jazz or P bass for my second.

I tried at all the American fender bases and I didn’t like any of them.

I fell in love with this white Mustang with a tortoise shell pick guard and Rosewood fretboard
From the video.

I thought that was just such a unique sound coming from that Mustang, almost like surf bass, if you know what I mean, that chicken plucking tone is very distinct so I decided that I must have one.

Upon my surprise I realized it was not an American newer model available today.

Being a new bass player I guess I was just being naïve and thinking I could just grab one from guitar center!!

I know, right?

I couldn’t believe there were like a dozen of these babies on reverb with the exact same color and pick guard and Rosewood fretboard.

Mine is supposed to be all original including pick ups and pots.

I was able to verify the serial number which most of these were listed and visible so you could verify their authenticity.

It appears to be a 2004 Japanese mustang.

I was so stoked, I just pulled the trigger.

My first time buying from reverb so God help me!!!

Thanks again for the great video and bass lines.

Just out of curiosity does anyone out there on one of these vintage mustangs from Japan?

If so I would love your thoughts on what do you think of this bad boy.

Some of the ones I have heard sound a little bit Fret buzzy.

I have heard that comes along with the territory of a short scale bass.

I have a Mesa D800+ and want to switch to GK. Can’t decide between this, or the Legacy 800. I play rock and love a bright, punchy tone with a tad of hair. Both seem to do the choice.

Any chance you do more of these? Specifically using the NeoIV 410 or 212 without DI? So eager to hear them perform and nothing around to try them out. Thanks!

I forget, does the WHITE line on the knob mean it IS ENGAGED or the BLUE mean it IS engaged or boosted?

Looks and sounds great, but the deal breaker is the power button on the back. No good for rack mounted units. Sucks because I'm shopping for a new amp and I'd love to have this

I have a JBL 15" cabinet and a JBL horn in its own cabinet. Special Speakon cables are basically ring-low end, pin-high end. My 800RB was much easier to balance with separate level controls for high and low end. The crossover point was controllable. I'm using a 700RB II now. No crossover control. Suggestions? Also what is the general price for the Legacy 800?
