My dad was admitted to R. G. Kar for heart attack and I was there with him. The CCU unit had bugs and cockroaches everywhere I stayed there for 15 days and since I couldn't sleep at night I would go on a stroll in the hospital.
I was shocked to see that I had free access everywhere. The guards were either sleeping or drunk or not there. I even strolled inside OTs, students quarters, hostel premises, doctor quaters, even the morgue. The cameras were for show. Most of them were either not working or turned at a weird direction.
Nobody stopped me despite me being a 26 year old outsider guy strolling there at 2am.
I wasn't even trying to hide.
This is the level of security in the hospital.
Really saddened and ashamed by this incident.
