For me Stargate is the best Show ever, but its just me...

I love Battlestar Galactica but I have rewatched Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis over 50 times each while I run on my treadmill and they always entertain. Both of those shows are timeless and stand up to multiple viewings. I also love The Orville and it was entertaining in all seasons with the distinction being that every season was different as the humor was dialed back over time. Great list.

Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape are the holy trinity, the best there is, haven't watched Stargate, though.

I think ‘Space above and Beyond’ was worth a mention. Couldn’t get into it as an adult but when it released I loved it.

Ok, I’ve something very controversial to say and I’m pretty sure that star trek fans will put a price on my head for it 😂 but “the Orville” is the better version of “star trek”. For starters the technology is more realistic, the conversations are more natural, the show contains dramatic, funny, sad, etc. moments. And Star Trek hasn’t changed a single little bit from the sixties to now, it’s literally still the same thing, for god crying out loud please please please shake it up a little bit change a few things make it a bit more like if with the time the personality, politics, the ranking of the staff or anything of any of the life forms change, the show has been the same for the past 50 years.

Stargate is where it's at, first contacts getting the tech to build spaceships making friends with aliens, mythology that for some most bizarre reason makes sense they turned them into alien visits idk its the whole vibe of the show, romance wasn't even the 3 important thing to implement people were just having fun on set and talked without over acting it was natural.. Plus you could see how much advance we are compared to some other planets, and the other way around..we had almost everything with Stargate..and nit a single show has done that since Stargate franchise which is weird cause that formula was perfect and nobody tried to do something similar ever again...

I feel SG:Atlantis deserved a separate spot. When I rewatched it with fresh eyes - I did enjoy it more than SG-1 (but SG-1 is where it all started, so it does make sense to put them in the main list :) ). I recomended watching Stargate my one friend, and he just couldn't watch SG-1 at first (he gave up after 5 episodes of ancient temples, barbarians, horses and huts), so I suggested him trying out Atlantis (which is sci-fi from the get go and there aren't really useless filler episodes, just 5 seasons of pure sci-fi), and it did hook him up :) after Atlantis he gave another shot at SG-1, and after skipping few filler episodes - he got into SG-1 as well.

I never watched Battlestar Galactica, and it feels like a good series to watch. I just finished watching Lost for the 4th time, so some new blood would be nice :D

Without Babylon 5 this list is pointless. Needless to say that among all Star Wars series only Andor is decent. Everything else is slow, empty and boring.
