As with carbon fiber, there is a never ending search for the top overall gloss black vinyl wrap. There will be many opinions even after watching this video. I invite you to drop your personal feedback and opinion in the comment section so that we can all talk about and try to find the best possible vinyl to suit each other. Mainly what I look for is how nice the finish is along with its durability. Cost always comes down to the consumer and what they're willing to spend money on whether it costs less or is more expensive. How easy or difficult the film is comes down to the installer, their skill level, work ethic and what they are willing to offer their customers. In my experience, the nicest looking films tend to be the most difficult to work with.

I wrapped my Honda Civic Si twice in vivvid. It was a major PITA to work with. I recently wrapped a spoiler on my Porsche with 3M satin Black and it was immensely much easier. I am a novice and i felt like the 3M came out really good. the dry PPF is intriguing.

Cant say thank you enough for your comprehensive videos. I'm just an amateur but want to tackle blacking out my roof, I tried vivid for my hood and fought it the whole time (took all day) I want to try 3M but the glue lines make me nervous and Avery sounds nice but seems to have the least durability. Which would you recommend? Thanks again even if you dont have time to reply, really appreciate all you do!!!

Thank you very much. My first wrap job I did my E36 M3 with 3M 1080 gloss black. It was kinda brownish but easy to work with I thought.

This was the perfect video for me. I’m scheduled to pick up my 2025 Range Rover in April next year; and plan to take it straight to the wrap installer. The Flex Shield dry seems to be the best option

The Flexishield looks like The way to go. @ $1500 for a roll is expensive, it looks like this is the way to go to Cover up my aging Porsche paint.

VVivvid has a nice finish and i got a 100' roll for under 500$ but they sent it without the cap sheet. its almost like if youre not a professional shop they dont care about what they send for product.

Thanks for that great Video, iam currently thinking about buying "Flexishield Cosmetic PPF Pitch Black" for the roof of my car. But sadly I cant really find ways to buy it in Europe as a private person.
