Much appreciated! 🙏 nothing more irritating than being forced to comply to a "suggestion", especially when there's a "remind me in 3 days" option where a skip button should be.

Thank you Chris - Im ussing 11 now and I just got this " Windows Welcome Experience " screen. To disable it in Windows its almost exactly the same, but ya just have 2 boxes to uncheck.
1) Offer suggestions on how I can set up my device.
2) Get tips and suggestions when I use Windows.
At the time of writting, these are the only 2 options available. So Im confident, that will do the job.
Thanks again.

Thanks a million. There is nothing more annoying (are you listening Microsoft) that BUYING an operating system which the manufacturer then abuses its control of to try to get information and money out of the paying customer. It is bad enough when people offering free services do that, but the whole microsoft 365 cost structure / customer spying / revenue generating data retention/sales approach is why 5 of my 8 computers run Linux.

You're a lifesaver. I saw the other video which just suggested cancelling to delay the message a few weeks, but thanks for the follow up showing exactly how to stop it ever happening again. From past experience I am convinced that microsoft updates will occasionally trigger old settings or download unnecessary bloatware like Xbox/Candy Crush type stuff. Whether or not this is an "accident" or them purposely hoping to catch people off guard with something that just so happens to benefit the company I guess is up to how much a person trusts Microsoft or Bill "LOL forever lockdowns and vaccines are so funny" Gates.

if only windows told us how easy it is to turn that off...
now that would be some useful tips :D

thanks for the video

I'd love to know why Microsoft include these annoying features in their OS

Fantastic, I had no idea why my months-old Windows 10 O/S would randomly ask me about 'setting up Windows' every so often. It's been done, it's set up, I've gone through this multiple times before, WHY do you think I need to do it yet again? UGH! Many thanks!

"Suggest ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows" is no longer present, not even in Win10 build 1909. I toggled off some of the other options and I sure hope it gets the job done.

Thanks, quite an annoying thing to see on my copy of windows 10 pro. I was wondering why I never saw this nagging on my desktop and realized its because windows education edition has much of the advertising disabled by default.
