Members of a historic Royse City church reflect on losing their place of worship in a fire

A Royse City congregation is reflecting on their church's legacy after a fire destroyed the building.

I still cannot believe part of this church is now gone. I may not have been a member but I only live a mile from it and drive by it nearly every day. The storm was so bad that morning that all power went out in my house for a couple of hours and I couldn’t make it to work because the streets were flooded.

For some of us our church buildings do become our second home.
