OpenAI demos its latest developer release of GPT-4.

After trying to get 3.5 to help me do a pretty complex set of operations in Symfony 6 with Doctrine and a few other things and it getting it wrong over and over for hours, GPT-4 nailed it about 95% of the way on the first try. Worked with it for maybe ten minutes tops and it's working perfectly. So happy with the update!

Absolutely incredible. Now, this is GPT-4 that we are witnessing for the first here. As impressive as that is, just think about how advanced this will be when it gets to version 14 a few years from now? How about when it eventually gets to version 40? Now, pair that same level of AI up with the raw power of quantum computing and think about where we end up? I don't think people have ANY clue at all how much our world is about to change with all of this. Once you pair advanced AI up with quantum computing, that's literally going to mark a turning point in human history and evolution that will be remembered and talked about 1, 000 years from now. Yeah, it's going to be THAT big - and THAT important. We are not ready. None of us are.
