I had a voice chat with GPT-4 yesterday (the current one, not this one) and it's actually quite nice if you haven't spoken to anyone for pretty much the whole day. I can see myself just casually speaking in the future like a pretend friend that actually answers and is also quite smart.

This is incredible. Did you notice how she didn’t just immediately give him the answer to the equation, but instead guided him through the process? Even the language she used sounds eerily similar to how a teacher would speak to a student. Like asking questions as a way to provide guidance and confidence in his own ability to solve the problem

“So what do you think we should do with that +1?”

This really is the type of AI a lot of us have been waiting for for years. I just didn’t expect it quite this soon, or for her to be so sweet and funny.

CHAT GPT saw the equation of life and death, through which we could understand what the universe is all about, but the guy decided to withhold the answer.

I notice chat doesnt respond based on the vision. It requires a prompt from the human to check first, then it will check the vision and then respond.

Have to ask since once you make a system capable of doing something one way, it’s usually easier than before to reverse it’s function. Will future possible versions of chatGPT or whisper be able to discern emotion from vocal tone?
