Thorough and honest review. I bought a 2024 last month, and I’m in love!

I just leased a 2024 for my daughter for $230 a month. Great deal.

I just got a 2024 CX-30 preferred and I have the day the auto rain sensing wipers on the Cx-30 is also very helpful. Most cars I feel like you have to pay for a higher trim for stuff like that so that’s nice. Also I just joined the channel and think you’re doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work☺️👍

I just bought one!
It’s a great compromise car.
You get a real non-turbo engine, a real transmission and way less gizmos on the S variant. The interior is sweet. The info screen has an OFF button …
The styling is pleasant on the eyes.
I’m liking it more and more.
And in a few years a grandkid gets it.

The dial is amazing when you get used to it also a safer option when driving as it is at your right hand no stretching

It is a pitty that some reviewers do not touch the essential characteristics: reliability, total cost of ownership, resale value etc.
Mazda CX-30 is an excellent subcompact crossover, a very good example of Mazda's positioning as premium (in between the upper mass-market Toyota #2 in reliability and #1 in low TCO and the luxury Lexus #1 in reliability, #4 in low TCO = Total Cost of Ownership).
I had it in the final with a Lexus UX and it definitely wins (being #3 in reliability and #4 in low TCO) - except if you get a more than 20% discount from MRSP on a Lexus UX 250h F Sport AWD (that "black swan" happened to me at the beginning of the PLANdemic because the car lots were full).
Highly recommend!

I like the interior. The dashboard I can relate to. I also like the fact that the high-tech screen is out of the way. I prefer Chrome rims rather than all black.

Mazda CX-30 S Select Machine Grey 2022 owner and I enjoy it! Like you said, the feeling of luxury without paying for it. I have off-road capability along with the all wheel drive and I’m assuming the carbon edition has it as well. I don’t have the turbo edition but it has enough get up and go on it if I need to pass on the left lane in the highways. Thank you Lauren for this video post.

Agree, don’t like the dial button for nontouch screen, it’s 2024 Mazda. How come u did not mention about the terrible Apple play, the audio is very low. Apparently it’s a common thing in Mazda, which I found out after getting the car.

A touchscreen requires a driver to look away from the windshield and focus on where to precisely touch something on a flat screen. Mazda knows console-mounted controls, once learned, are arguably safer to use. A touchscreen, along with real physical knobs and buttons for frequently used adjustments - as in the latest Hondas - are what I like best.

Nice review! As a Miata owner I personally don’t like the rotary dial in lieu of the touchscreen. Mine is not a 2024 so there is no touch unless you’re stopped. In the MX-5 it doesn’t really doesn’t make much sense. I didn’t like it in my Audis and I don’t like it the Mazdas. I am skeptical of claims that it is much/any safer.

Hi, a) can you buy the base model without a sunroof? And b) how about the 2.5 turbo also without a sunroof? Some people do not like holes in the roof. 😮😊
