Here’s how I practice new handstand shapes!

1. General warm-up
2. Specific stretches for the handstand shape. In this case, I worked on my straddle and internal hip rotation
3. Next, I practice propped up on my elbows to get the movement pattern locked in. Doing so also helps to get the hips moving fluidly 💦
4. I then practice in a forearm stand
5. Then, finally, in a handstand
