Starship is Ready to Light It Up! Here We Go!

Only a few weeks after Starship Flight 7, here we are preparing the Flight 8 Starship for static fire. Yes my friends, here we go! Starship is Ready to Light It Up! We also talk about the new PEZ loading box that we believe will be used to add the dummy payload for Flight 8. It has been an intriguing week in general actually so there is a lot to cover today. Falcon 9 action with WorldView Legion 5 & 6, Two Starlinks missions, Blue Origin NS-29 with a twist this week (well, a lunar gravity rotation), and some pretty incredible news around Asteroid Bennu Samples. As always, no rest when coving space news.

I love how space community grew the past 5 years, and us enthusiasts get honored by you guys bringing us wonderful news and updates and give us the opportunity to connect with other peers.
Keep it up, and thank you sir!

I saw a lot of thanks today in the comments and I felt I needed to chime in also.
I love the way you present things, from a more scientific, informational and fact based perspective than from an exhausting entertainment, hyperboly, paparazzi and leaks type of reporting.
I also love the utilitarian editing syle of the videos, nothing extra, just content.
Some creators do almost 30 second segments where they whine about their channel metrics and make obnoxious calls to action.

So thank you for what you do, keep it going!

Yes Marcus; you use shots and vids from other sources like RGV and Jack Beyer and others and you've your own way of putting the detail together and I watch every episode. Thank you so much.

The John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier visited Ireland and remembered sitting chatting to a few of the crew in a pub high in Dunlorie, Co. Dublin, about 20 years ago, was high up in a pub on the shopping centre. She was about a mile off shore, and still looked massive. My claim to fame. There's a lot happening in space, and thanks for all the news, Buddy. Slan ❤️ 19:43

Great video as always!
Great to see that Blue Origin mission have a successful landing! I'm keeping tabs on Firefly Aerospace too with their unmanned Blue Ghost lunar lander on the way to the moon now - can't wait for that to land!

Hey Marcus! Ive been following for quite a while. I think i found you when you had something like 30k subs. You've always been so consistent, and trustworthy when it comes to your reporting on space/rocketry news. I appreciate the heck out of ya mate. Keep doing what you do!

I think they should retrofit those big retired carriers into "Starship Catchers". You could land two or three rockets on one of those at a time! 🙂
