I tried both. S23 ultra is a beast of a phone. But it's a very wide phone, too wide cannot use in one hand. Kept the P8P. Pixel is a great phone but doesn't have the raw performance as the Ultra.

Great comparison. Both looking nice. Usch for me to get Pixel 8 pro harder than S23 Ultra and regular 8 with 256Gb basically has same price like the S23 Ultra with 512Gb . US has always better deals and of course the Google official store, and support. Ps: i've seen update icon on your S23 Ultra. 😁 Edit: a little camera comparison would be good, if you might gonna have time for it.

Sorry to say it but 7 years of software support wont mean much if the battery doesn’t last long over time even the 7 pro batteries are starting to fail

Why does brightness really matter? 1750, 2400. Little difference and affect battery.

I used to use Samsung Note 8, S10plus, Note 20ultra, S21ultra, and the last is s23ultra then will switch to Iphone coz camera on Samsung is always made me disappoint.

A certain percentage of us wish the pixel had enough to compete with the ultra but it's lacking a lot, whatever the price difference is a lot lol, it's a compelling conversation though.

Can't stream to a TV unless you have a chrome cast, Battery life is nowhere near as good as on the S23 Ultra, No S-Pen, Trash customisation, Fingerprint reader is horrendous. I'll defo stick with S23 Ultra.

I disagree. I think the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is by far the better phone between the two. It can do everything the Pixel 8 Pro can do and much more. It has a better looking design in my opinion, definitely a better looking display, a QHD+ Dynamic Amoled 2x HDR10 120Hz Display, 3088x1440p screen resolution and 500ppi pixel density, quad camera setup, much better zoom, 8k30 fps video support, much more customization, better multi tasking experience, S Pen, Dolby Atmos speakers, longer lasting battery life, faster charging, reverse wireless charging, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68 water and dust resistance etc. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is just an all around better phone if you ask me.

The 7 Pro feels even more comfortable in the hand.
The 8 Pro is the one with the better haptic but slippery.
The Ultra is just ultra - in any way

S23 Ultra is a better phone🥇. Even my 13 Pro A15 Bionic is more powerful than this Pixel 8 Pro.

Google didn’t listen what people said. Pixel 8 Pro is not the best neither on Battery life, neither on Charging speed, nor Fingerprint scanner.

Improving design, flat display, bright screen is not enough. Plus all AI features are not available worldwide ( i live in France).

Unfortunately for Google, Pixel 8 Pro sales will prove my points🫤.
