The most unrealistic part of this scene is Roger being an ex junkbox potentially allowing another addict to be dopesick. Then again, Mimi was the only character in the entire show that wasn’t a scumbag

This Mimi is only interested in manipulating people for what she can get. Dawson does a great job as a single-minded drug addict who can't think beyond getting her drugs back - lazy movements, frenetic movements, unfocused eyes, would-be seductive eyes & flirty "I like it between my...". If that's what the directors wanted, she does it perfectly. But no sense that Roger is someone she cares about other than that he's potentially attractive & she can maybe manipulate him, & maybe he's put her heroin in his back pocket. Thank goodness he's wise to her. At least in this scene.
