To be fair they don't predict that we live in 10D universe but rather if that theory is brought back to 4D it doesn't yeild the desired results it doesn't mean that we live or exist in a 10D but rather scientists haven't been able to make sense of a model that works in 4D for the time being

I can confirm from my extensive research with DMT that the string theory is more than likely what's responsible for everything. And as far as the extra dimensions that we can't perceive or whatever, they are, just that. It's not like a smaller dimension or anything, they are to the same scale and size as our current dimensions. As far as I could tell, although they could be massively larger, but they are very much everywhere all around and to try to describe it is basically impossible for me to put into English words because I don't have the words to describe what I saw. They're literally aren't those words in existence, but it's the most mind-blowingly beautiful thing I've ever seen and felt because you finally feel what it is to be. More than the embodiment of consciousness and awareness, I don't even know if it's a soul or a spirit or something different, but that's what it feels like because you've got no ego or agenda or depression or bodily pain. That's a feeling or an emotion or worry or anything. Literally anything from this one's a perception and experience and you are literally just existing like just being... Nothing more. Nothing less which is awesome because to take in everything you're seeing is Earth shattering. Honestly. Imagine being able to see the entirety of them known universe and beyond all at once. But you don't know from what perspective you're seeing it from. All you know is that you're seeing some sort of galactical multi-dimensional rubrics cube of parabolic shaped wormhole features with endless cascading sacred geometry patterns, colors. I can even begin to describe because we don't have them here and so much more. Check it out if you get a chance. It's literally the most amazing thing I've ever experienced

3 spatial dimensions plus a time "dimension" doesn't give what we'd call a 4-dimensional space. Time isn't THE 4th dimension; it's just "a" dimension. If space bends, it's bending through a 4th spatial dimension. You could then call time a 5th. Heck, you could call temperature a dimension if you want. Time is not a 4th orthogonal direction in which you can travel either direction or stand still. It's a concept, not THE 4th dimension. Its not at all what you come to when you extrapolate the principles and mathematics behind our experiencable 3 spatial dimensions.

My uneducated theory is that the universe isn't really expanding, just moving in a 4th dimension that we can't comprehend, similar to how we're traveling in 3 dimensions right now.

Well.... actually
Time as we know it is 1 dimension (a time-line). But there are in fact 72 dimensions of time. We only have access to 0.5 dimension of time. 1 full dimensional access would be the ability to traverse back in time. 2 dimensions of time is the ability to move sideways in time, aka alternative realities of you. 3 dimensions is moving up in time, aka the ability to move to any locational point in any period of time as anyone in any reality.
