This doesn't really seem like a fair comparison because The Xiaomi 13 pro competes with Galaxy S23 plus, while the yet to be released Xiaomi 13s ultra will compete directly with Galaxy S23 ultra. If you ask I will say Xiaomi did very well since their 2nd line flagship is doing ok competing against Samsung galaxy 1st line flagship.

I know Speaker to Mic to Speaker doesn't really translate the sound even close to accurate, but from what I've heard in this quick sample is that Xiaomi has way brighter and clearer sound, while S23 likely is more muffled and way more bassy or even to the point of bloated bass so based on what your mic has picked up the Xiaomi has hands down superior audio.

I did not buy either yet but I do feel you were quite biased. The S23 Ultra is likely to be 20% more expensive than the Xiaomi 13 pro. Its easy to say that a Electric Porche is the better car than a Tesla but most of use take price much more into consideration than you seem to do. Also, for me wireless charging is a must have and the Xiaomi 13 can charge wirelessly faster than the S23 Ultra can with a wire. Xiaomi also bundle the 120W charger in with the Phone, so it really will charge at 120W. The S23 Ultra will only charge as fast as the charger you have lying around. First and last time on your channel for me.

No matter what, I still prefer the S23U. U have more customizations on Samsung and that electronic magic wand. Infact Samsung is on a different high league entirely. ✌️

Honestly i prefer miui over one ui. Found Samsungs ui always a bit overkill. too many options in your face, animations tend lag sometimes and just the overall aesthetic feels cluttered and a bit childish, the bubbly icons for example. Miui to me feels more stylish and refined. Animations feel very fluid and consistent, subtle animations and haptics in the right places make it feel alive. sure it takes inspiration from Apple but i think that's a win. It's like having the best of both worlds. Miui 14 just feels so much more alive and the overall appearance looks, again more polished and refined to me. Used to love stock Android but miui 14 won me over. it's actually a selling point to me now 😛

Also Gorilla Glass is going backwards in my opinion, am I the only one who wants a bit more scratch resistance more like how Gorilla glass 3-4 was??? Phones now scratch far too easy

Been using the s23 ultra. Really good phone but the sharp corners really hurts the hands. Even with a case. Bring back rounded edges.

Had Xiaomi 11 Ultra when it came out & everyone raved it was a beast... Didn't like the software or battery life. Yes agreed things have moved on but I'm very happy with the S23 Ultra that I recently purchased and early online discounts that I received.

I feel like most people stuck to the brand not what it offers, Xiaomi is a company that actually listens to its users, Samsung and Apple have been doing the same thing for far too long, no big changes in years, they don't care about what the customer wants, the customer is stupid enough to buy the exact same product again next year anyway. If Jesus would come back he wouldn't get the S23 Ultra, it would remind him of holes in the palms of the hands. I don't think he'd use the pen either, reminds him of the nails.
