How does the A16 Bionic powered iPhone 14 Pro Max (4323mAh) stack up against the iPhone 13 Pro Max (4352mAh), Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (5000mAh), Xiaomi 12S Ultra (4860mAh), Xiaomi 12 Pro (4600mAh), OPPO Find X5 Pro (5000mAh), and OnePlus 10 Pro (5000mAh) in this ULTIMATE Real Life Usage 100%-0% Battery Drain Test?!?

All Phones are Set to the Exact SAME Brightness Level (Using a LUX Meter). If a phones display looks brighter or dimmer than another, it's due to my studio lighting.

I Run through 15 APPS which include System Apps, Media Apps, Social Media Apps, Benchmark Apps (to simulate High Performance Gaming), and Games. Intervals are clocked every 30 Minutes and at each interval I show the Percentage of each phone as well as their temperature in degrees Celsius using an Infrared Heat Gun!

00:00 - Intro / LUX Meter Readings / Settings
01:02 - Battery & Temps at the Start
01:29 - FULL 100-0% Battery Drain Test
10:14 - Final Results (Worst to Best)
11:16 - Temperature Results
11:41 - Results compared to First Drain Test Results & Predecessor Results
12:35 - Results if all Phones had the same Battery Capacity
13:11 - Outro & Final Thoughts

This video took me 4 full days to put together which includes over 50+ hours of preparation, recording and editing ~ I hope you can all take a step back and appreciate my efforts because at the end of the day I am doing this ALL for YOU guys😎. None of this would be possible without my incredible community!🔥

Side Notes📝
- All Phones have been set to the exact SAME brightness level (Using a LUX Meter). If a phones display looks brighter or dimmer than another, it's due to my studio lighting.
- This test layout is the EXACT same as all other drain tests seen on MY channel so you can compare these results DIRECTLY to other battery drain test results within MY channel. But, its not advised to compare these results to other channels due to different APPs used, brightness levels, etc.
- The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the ONLY phone in this test that I have personally used as my daily driver every single day since it's launch up until the launch of it's successor. Due to this, it is currently sitting on 96% battery health. If you would like to know the result of the 13 Pro Max with 100% battery health, watch until the end of the video where I mention the iPhone 13 Pro Max result from when I tested its battery for the very first time just after it's launch last year.
- The OPPO Find X5 Pro got a much worse result compared to last time out around 7 months ago. I have not used this phone personally, and it has just featured in a few videos here and there so its still essentially still brand new. The result is worse not because of daily usage like I just mentioned. I personally think it's because this time round, the OPPO was running a stable version of ColorOS 13 (Android 13) as opposed to the last time when it was running a stable version of ColorOS 12 (Android 12). I feel that maybe the new software has not been well optimised with the devices hardware as of yet.

iOS 16.0.3 has actually given the 14 pro max better battery life. I’ve definitely noticed it on mine.

The 13pro max is still king. Judging from its 1.0 Ltpo and is already a year since its release 🤝I also noticed that the chrome scrolling test has a terrible impact on the 13pro max battery health probably because of the Ltpo technology and that's what gave the edge to the 14pro max at the finish.

I remember Samsung making fun of iPhones calling them wall huggers.

not much people are noticing this but the s22 ultra when realeased was said to have a bad battery but now it has recovered and its 3rd in the video beating all other androids

I used to remember when iPhones used to have below average battery life, now they seem to provide the longest battery life in all flagship phones. What still impressed me was how the S22 Ultra, despite the shittier Samsung manufactured, 4nm chipset was to outperform some Chinese flagship phones with the "cooler operating" and "more efficient" 8 plus gen 1. Some even matched the 5000mah and had a smaller screen compared to the S22 Ultra, but the S22 Ultra managed to stay on top of all Android flagship comparisons.

Judging by the first time tested result on the 13 PM, that is the winner. I'm sure a year later it's battery has degraded by a few %. Also impressed by the s22U and how it provides more battery compared to the 1st time tested time even if it's minuscule. I own the s22U exynos and software has improved battery and I get an extra hour - 1.5 hours extra SOT

Hi Nick, loved the video! But google pixel series which just launched recently is missing. Would also love to see you include that as most other phones have been in market for quite some time now. Cheers and love from India!

Your test are the best I have ever seen on yt, I know that long time is needed to make such a video, but it really is worth. Very simple but detailed comparison. Only thing I would change (I already told you and you reply a few minutes ago) is to test more 8+ gen 1 chipset phones instead of 8 gen 1.

Wow s 22 ultra has been improved a lot. It use to die before 13 pro max went into 20% before.
I also use to see one plus 10 pro has better battery life than s 22 ultra.
Are u using one ui 5 in s 22 ultra?

Being an S22 Ultra user. I would say it keeps getting better and better. The battery is good now, I can easily make a day without worrying about the battery.

OnePlus 10 Pro Emerald Forest green here 🤓😎
Often got 8hrs30 SOT with normal usage (no benchmark and only Boom Beach and Clash of Clans gaming) and 120hz off and FHD+ résolution instead of QHD+
Another great video from TechNick you great serious and professional tech YouTuber 👍

Hey Nick, since you left China, did you notice any improvement in battery life in everyday general use using your personal phone? Back here in Covid land, I've noticed VPN usage and Wechat make up for around 50% of my daily battery drain. I'd love to switch to the normal size Pro 14 but I can't get through the day without the Max. Once again, great video!
