I apparently have two versions of Outlook on my computer. This was after a restart for another reason. One icon is for the old Outlook and the other is for the new Outlook. I have never used the Mail and Calendar program.

I wish Microsoft would stop fixing things that aren't broken. Their priority should be focussed more on customer needs than purely generating profits. A little balance wouldn't go astray.

As a small developer just thinking of building a kill switch to my app is beyond ridiculous. This is a practice people would have been outraged decades ago. It feels like you’re not in control of your own stuff. I have no problem with ending the support but just making it not to work?

Yea, why not screw up everything for the end user. I mean, why not? It's fun, right Microsoft?

This change has been long overdue. Next, they need to clearly identify the difference between "New Outlook" and "Outlook 365". The fact that it was possible to run "Windows Mail", "Outlook" and "Outlook 365" on the same login was a source of endless confusion for my parents. I was showing my dad how to do things in Outlook 365 on his new PC just like he did on the old one, and he would tell me later that the contact list was gone again, only to find the wrong version of Outlook was pinned to the taskbar.
