Mardi Gras 2022 in New Orleans | The BEST Fat Tuesday Party!

Happy Mardi Gras 2022 y'all! It is Fat Tuesday 2022 and this is IT! Come with us asI show you what a Mardi Gras Day celebration will be like when you plan to come for your own celebration! Obviously I am all dressed up, and you should be too! Getting dressed up for the occasion and I found out you'd feel more like an outsider if you DIDN'T wear a little something to show your Mardi Gras 2022 spirit!

Despite what you may have heard, Mardi gras parades are VERY family-friendly, and I'd say family-oriented. There wasn't one parade we cam upon that didn't feel like a carnival for kids of all ages. Families make plans to spend the evening with family trying to catch a "throw." Bring your tent, chairs, and a bag to carry all your goodies home, because you're gonna need it! bourbon street does NOT close down mardi gras night at ME. the cops stroll down the street as a formality tellin' everyone mardi gras is "officially" over. just go into a bar or go to another street in the quarters for @ a half hour or so & you can go back to bourbon. i've done this for soooo many years. bourbon st. NEVER closes.
