Utterly fantastic guitar. Used to have one, but gave it to a friend a few years ago. I will be buying another. I am a compulsive buyer/seller of acoustics - have lost count of how many I've had over the last few years. Many, many Martin dreads, Gibson Songwriter Deluxe, Larrivee D-60, etc., etc. The LL6, although it has a laminate b/s, is very easily one of the 3 best guitars I have ever owned. Yamaha does a beautiful fit and finish job on this model, as well as the terrific construction.

Sometimes I think that I wasted my money with this guitar. (maybe because I could bought another "better" for that price), but watching this kind of videos and playing it everyday ... I just feel f**king proud of her :) (sorry about my english).

Sir you have hae experience with so many acoustic guitars please tell me which one happens to be the most acoustically loud out there. I have tried this model it was pretty loud to my ears . Any other model which you think is louder???

Just bought a new LL6 today. Love it!
It has a passive (no battery) pickup but no information on it. Just a 1/4" socket on the rear strap holder and it works. Does Yamaha put these into them? Anybody know anything about them? Are they piezoelectric, dynamic or something else?

I can hear a bit of "buzzing" sound when you strum hard. is that because the strings are new? or what? other than that it really sounds good!
