The only thing that is constant is change it's self. Climate change always happened in the past if you look at longer time-line that's beyond a decade! The world is not going to end in 12 years but global cooling will start by then caused by the less light output by the sun, like this happened before in a longer term cycle of the sun that happens every ~ 150 years and it last for 2 to 3 decades. The short term cycle of our sun happens every 11 years. We can even have a mini-ice age if we have lots of volcanic eruptions during this upcoming global cooling that will start within in a few years.
