How to remove Target security tags!

No I DID NOT steal these sports bras... I bought them at self checkout and didn’t realize until I got home that the tags were still on. Excuse my pants and part of my stomach I just ate that’s why it looks like my pants about to bust open! 😂

They need to start paying better attention or come up with a better system. I’ve had this happen so many times. They left one on at Kohl’s and I threw away the receipt so they won’t take it off. And of corse this one is a mad pain in the @$$.

Thank you! My daughter flies to Baltimore for a Chef's meeting with her company. Checkout lady failed to take 3 of the tags off the tops she bought. You were a saving grace at 8:30 pm, 20 miles from Target and a flight at 7am tomorrow.

Rare earth magnet will do it too, it’s basically what the store uses.

FYI an easier way is to place the flathead where she did, but not push it all the way through, then rotate it. It opens the device right up.

Thank you for making this video for target specific tags. They forgot to remove a tag from my wife’s clothing and this method worked with no mess.

Did the same thing my daughter had to play basketball basketball and got these shorts last minute that she had to wear underneath her other shorts and it had the stupid tag still on Did your trick and it did it perfectly

Thanks for this, bought a dress last week and it has 3 security tags. I shop at target all the time and have never encountered a security tag on clothes. It didn’t beep at me either. Hopefully this works for me!
