GTA 5 DESTROYS Cyberpunk 2077

The bugs and the terrible console optimization might be Cyberpunk 2077's biggest issues, but they're far from the only issues. One way CDPR's open world RPG has disappointed a lot of players is with its open world, which many have called out for feeling hollow and lacking in immersion, especially compared to what the pre-launch marketing and hype for the game suggested.

Over the last couple of weeks, we've taken a look at a few recent open world titles and talked about how they compare to Cyberpunk 2077 as far as immersion goes, but the one open world game that Cyberpunk has been compared to most often is, of course, is GTA. Before the game launched, players were hoping that Cyberpunk would provide a futuristic GTA-esque open world setting to mess about in. That, of course, did not end up happening, but how big is the gap between the two exactly? Let's take a look.

RDR, RDR2, & GTA3-5 all crap on Cyberpunk and I’m someone who bought it day one and has a lot of the merch. Trusted CDPR. That said, Im hoping they fix it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 made me want to revisit GTA 5 for all the right reasons. Cyberpunk made me wanna revisit it for all the wrong ones.

Some people are finding the comparisons to GTA5/RDR2 unfair for Cyberpunk because Rockstar has way more experience/ budget than CDPR at creating detailed and living open worlds. In a way, I agree that it might seem like it. But the thing is, CDPR is the one that called their game “THE most believable city in any open world game to date”. When you make such claims, you better have something to back it up, and be prepared for people to make comparisons with other games.

I just redownloaded gta 5

I actually cancelled my cyberpunk pre order and have just been playing gta 5 and rdr2

The replay on these games are just phenomenal
