Hi! My mother was like you! I am an only child and she homeschooled me. I do admit, I had some issues relating with my peers at first, but this was mostly because my peers were really immature and thought I "acted like an old fart". My mom taught me so many good things, like moral values and things. 

I think I came out alright...hehe. I just wanted to say that I really loved being homeschooled because it allowed me to pursue my art (Im an artist)

Uhh... my 6 daughter is the MOST social person I know, and is very independent. Yes, she loves her attention, but what kids don't?
Homeschooling an only child can be very daunting at times, but it is definitely doable!

The domain for your site has expired :( I home school my son who is 7, although he is not an only child his siblings are 15, 16, and 18 all in public school so it feels similar to having an only child in some ways. :)
