I keep hearing great things about Zeiss scopes. I want to check out the new LRP S3 6-36x56. And the S3 4-25 has 160 MOA of travel....great scope for air gunners shooting long range.

I can account for the $100 Hawke optic. The other day I was taking a huge dump and clogged my toilet somethin' fierce. Thankfully, I had my trusty .300 Win Mag next to me, and was able to pop the lever on the quick disconnect so I could start plunging and 45 minutes later I was back on the back porch settin' the countryside back on fire. Didn't lose zero either. Thanks, Joe!

I think you nailed it man... I'm a huge fan of the 2 or 2.5×10, 3-15 or 18, and 4-16 power range when it comes to hunting optics. You see so many people running around with these rifles with really high magnification optics on top of them when they could've saved a good bit of weight and have much better low light performance with a 2-10 or something similar not to mention could've saved money because unless you're paying up for a high magnification optics the glass and coatings tend to suck.

Great video Joe! I had a hawke eclipse 30 sf scope back in the day on my budget long range build 300 win mag and it would break after about 100 rounds every time. After having it replaced free of charge about 4 times I switched over to a vortex viper and that also broke but after upwards of 1000 rounds. The vipers rear ocular bell fell right off lol. I ended up getting that replaced free of charge also and so far still going strong. Have a great day man!

I like what's in your head for hunting scopes. I can't vouch for each and every one but I like where you put the Leupold Scopes. All I need is that vxhd on my deer rifle. Just a nice thin crosshair, nothing more and for ethical hunting distances all I need is 4x. I worked hard to find that deer and the last damn thing I want is to lose him over high magnification, poor field of view. Just a good scope that holds zero and I can see through it. Your review was perfect!

I’d love to see some head to head scope comparison of 4x16 Meopta r1, 4x16 Steiner p4, and the zeiss conquest 4x16 . Thinking on one of these three for my go to deer and elk rifle .
