These same people will all be whining up a storm when they shut down beef production & the prices for their hamburgers & steaks triple or quadruples. This is what happens when people have not learned how their food gets to their table. I had a lady say that her favorite meat was bacon. Some time later she told us that she didn't eat pork.

Apparently Mr. Sage, does not realize the neutering and castrating is the very same procedure. He says it won't affect spaying and neutering, yet makes it illegal to castrate cattle. He doesn't even know what his initiative says. Only one of the contradictions of this measure.

This law has one purpose and one purpose only. To end livestock production in the state of Colorado. If that law passed every rancher in the state should load up all their cattle, haul them to the state Capitol and turn them lose. You citiots think you know better, here you go.

Clearly Mr. Sage has NO idea about animal practices and the reasons behind them. These practices are for the care and health of the animals. His ignorance and proposal would cause MORE harm to animals, as well as consumers, producers and the Colorado economy. Please educate yourself before you dictate how it should be done.

Insemination is the safest way to impregnate a cow. Bulls are about 3500lb and they can do some damage. Cows sometimes need to be put down after a bull try's to mate with them and it goes wrong. These are no longer the breeds that were in the wild. They have been bread for hundreds of years for qualities like size. This bill is naive in this regard.

Mr long-haired hippie clearly has his head shoved up his back end. And it's probably never spent more than a couple days on his life working near the cattle industry. It's the ranchers that have the best interest to be as kind to the animals as possible and give them the easiest life because if they do they put on more weight. And today's cattle industry they want as much weight as possible.
