Your Advices are PURE GOLD. I've been stuck at producing for years and now I started to realize the right method to keep on music production without wasting hours and hours. The day and night sessions is the best advice I've ever heard, in the past month specially
during the quarantine I had a lot of time to spend on music making but I was always struggling to making music or organize sounds or watching tutorials. Now I settled up my routine for the next 5 months. I really want to thank you man, discovering this channel was one of the best things happend to me in the last 2 years. Great (edm)tips once again Will! That simple "regardless of how you feel" -comment is a really good tip and I'll be following that more often; just give yourself a change to come up with something anyway. Usually I have waited for that feeling of inspiration before starting, that can take for ages sometimes and once again an opportunity was lost :) One more good comment that kinda liberates me in the composing phase: allow yourself also the not so good -ideas; just save them anyway and decide later if they are any good. This helps for example if I want to have somekind of full structure for a song but just can't make a good verse as an example; now I just make somekind of verse there, even if it's not that good at the moment but I don't get stuck with it and continue with the song anyway. I can then return to that part later but I have a full song to listen to instead of just one or two separate ideas.

Great video once again!
I'm quite new to Ableton and I want to organise my samples, but i've used them in a few tracks i've recently made. Will changing the directory of my samples make my Ableton go "Where are my samples mate?" Or does Ableton make a copy of them in a folder or someting?

I try to make music 20 mins at a time, If I take more time making a track I will tend to drift away from the original idea and to many times the track just starts to suck so. Hope that helps someone!
