Medley of Genshin Impact - Animenz, Yu-Peng Chen

SMU Ivory Keys is excited to re-invite you to our first ever on-campus recital (now enjoyable from the comfort of your devices), our Teatime Recital! ☕ Feel free to enjoy some piano music that our resident pianists performed after their classes.

This medley of Genshin Impact was played by Animenz on 12 Feb 2021. It is composed of three parts: first is the main theme, which is the most familiar part to many people; the melody heard when the players log into the game. Following this is Caelestinum Finale Termini — the Dvalin anthem — originally performed in an orchestra, giving it the feel of rising up to an epic occasion. The last part is The Wind Catcher from a Foreign Land which appeared in Genshin Impact's first PV published in 2019, which turned many curious heads towards the fantastic world of Teyvat, all awaiting eagerly to explore the beautiful yet unknown expanse of the land. Finally, the melody slumps back to the main theme, returning the listener to its roots (the start of the song, and also the game), framing the Genshin Impact world to be one of wonder and mystery.
