Watched this in IMAX. The Batmobile chase scene was sooo epic

I would see The Batman in IMAX if Matt Reeves filmed it on IMAX, but since it was just shot on standard digital, I’m definitely seeing it in Dolby Cinema

The film was shot digitally using anamorphic lenses. Meaning the 2:39:1 aspect ratio is the full frame. So seeing this in IMAX is actually a bad idea. They will blow up the picture to fit a 1:90:1 screen. What’s the point of IMAX if your losing image. A Dolby theater is probably best to get the best color and Atmos. I love IMAX for films shot in the format, but I make the exception with anamorphic films.

Not shot in Imax unlike the Nolan Trilogy so not worth going to Imax. The aeroplane hijack scene in The Dark Knight Rises was simply amazing in Imax. Kudos to Nolan

I am so hyped for this movie! I remember all of us freaking out when we saw this trailer back then when only 25% of it was filmed.
