I love the just below the knees length on tight dresses. It’s just a little more elegant than short and tight. I just made a very similar dress, now I want rushing everywhere, it’s so flattering!

I especially appreciated your review of 04/2012 #125. I've wanted to sew those sailor pants for a while but also wasn't sure about the closure. I had been thinking about just making the top two buttonholes functioning and sewing the other buttons just to the outer pocket, but after seeing your version, I'm not so sure that would work because I think they might gape. I think your idea of just making a side or back closure might work better. It's a shame that they didn't work out for you because I absolutely love them; that color is perfect.. All your garments are lovely as usual.

I made that dress too and I agree the instructions are easy. The button pants look great on you even if the fabric is too light, I think that you can get away it because the hem is wide and flowing.
