idk like i get wanting contrast but there is nothing wrong with chunky shoe+ wide pant. They both look good!

To each their own. It might look frumpy when you do it but not when someone else does it. The same applies with the shoes, it's all about personal preference and what is comfortable to the one wearing it. It's not necessarily a DON'T . Also, I believe one looks the way they feel. If you feel frumpy, you will look frumpy. If you feel lovely in the fit, you will look lovely.

I prefer chunky shoes with most of my wide leg palazzo pants. Most of them are what's called "full length" by some brands. Sure I have long legs but I'm still 5'4" so unless I wear chunky shoes I'll be walking all over them. I do own heels. But they're not always practical for the occasion. While chunky sneakers or chunky loafers are.

Just wear what makes you comfortable and makes you feel good...whats the pressure of looking good all the time. This is prime example of societal conditioning

The chunky sandals look a million times better and actually balance the outfit. The dainty shoes look out of place, like weird little stumpy feet emerging out of nowhere 😬

never letting go of chunky shoes bro especially if the pants pool a bit over ur feet, , if it feels too bottom heavy wear a hat or an interesting hairstyle
