I'd like to see a Star Trek anthology series with stand alone stories of different crews, colonists, medics, ambassadors, grifters, aliens, etc. This would help flesh out the Trek universe, and any characters who were really popular could return in more episodes or even spinoff series.

If they're going to do a Khan series, I'd personally rather they did one set during the Eugenics Wars - perhaps based on the Greg Cox novels. It would fill in a fairly confused bit of the lore.

Can we have more shows set in the later part of the timeline? Although I enjoy all star trek, im a bit bored of Kirk and spock era. I want to see the next chapter in Star Trek.

The final scene of Strange New Worlds should take place on the observation deck of the Enterprise and have Pike introducing the crew to their new Captain, James T Kirk.

You know what I'd like to see more than sexually diverse characters? Good and complex characters. Not just "you still don't have this and that, fill those checkboxes" stuff.

Why does a potential Academy series ALWAYS have to be "young Kirk and Spock"? Can't it be new, original characters? I'd watch Star Trek: Cadets, following a group through their Academy/Midshipmen years.

With Star fleet academy I think that if they do bring in characters in from any of the other series I think it could be Naomi Wildman, O’Brian, the unknown baby of Captain Sisco and maybe even Belana Torres
