Just goes to show you how overpriced these were initially. I would argue 70k plus is still to much.

The real story is not the 25% depreciation in a year - it's the $100k starting price. IMO, anyway.

$70K-$75K is still too expensive. Prices should be around $60K-$65K.

The best way to flush money down the toilet these days is to buy a new car. And the more you spend, the more you flush away.

Local dealer has a bronco raptor for sale 105K LOL. I wouldn't pay 105k for a v6 off roader unless it had 50k in cash hidden in the back

There’s still dealers asking over MSRP on used cars, was looking at 22 Raptor with 14k miles new was 82k asking used 89k …. Worse part is a lot of people are willing to overpay !!!!

sorry you had a bad experience Ben.
I have the 2024 bronco raptor which I use in alaska, highways and off road trails/logging roads. Its the most amazing off-roader. Take that from someone who has the f150 raptor and have had the Toyota landcriser, Range Rover and armada. the bronco has excellent suspension, ride precision handling with excellent turn circle for tight narrow trail roads.
Because it has a short wheel base you have to watch it on high speed of roads turns and catch it if it oversteers ( a problem with any sort wheel base vehicle). I can tell you it can do more than I can possibly drive it. Overall I have been very impressed with it. If I did not have the chance to use it on alaska in various conditions I probably wold not have known how special and seeing this vehicle is, it truly shines in extreme conditions which you wuld not know from regular driving. It is very comfortable what it is designed to do. So far it is reliable with no electrical issues. Is it overpriced yes, but its an amazing machine coming out of th factory. The depreciation is painful for sure but that's because of what you described in your video. Its more fun than the f150 raptor for sure.

The depreciation is more to the seller. The person has to sell less than the dealer's asking price.

No the kings of depreciation are either BMW 😂 and Mercedes Benz

So what I’m hearing is we’re back to normal card depreciation. You drive off the lot and you lose $20, 000. And the rest of us who’ve been waiting for these prices to drop so we could buy a used one. Our dreams will soon be fulfilled.

It's probably double the $25k depreciation, considering that all dealers were tacking on 15-25k ADM on these.

Depreciation hits harder off the lost when all prices are being inflated 30-50%

This is all great news! Hopefully they continue to plummet in price! They should be back down at the original release MSRP of $75K great buy at that price!

Toyota went from heroes to zeros doing the same BS every dealership is doing. If I were spending big money on an off-road vehicle it would be a INIOS.

I agree with everything you said here. Automotive consumer price index (CPI) is still at parabolic highs and will soon gain speed with a return to the mean and potentially further (lower MSRP's). Everything moves in cycles and this cycle started in March/April 2021 with the markup shenanigans and then peaked in Sept '23. Automakers and dealers think they live in a different reality and they will try to convince you that prices will never come back down. It's a lie. Why? It's just part of the cycle. Thanks for your honest opinion of the Braptor!

I traded mine for the same reason, but mine also had some issues that worried me being so far from home

Thank you Jeep and Ram Powerwagon for keeping the manual shift 4WD transer cases. Probably dependable, but l prefer manual shift over the pushbutton.

Majority of these sold for $120, 000 when they first came out
