2024 Ford Bronco NOT SELLING - Wonder Why?

Sales of the mighty Ford Bronco fall over 25% compared the same time last year. There are still tons of 2023 models on dealership lots and price tag points to why. People are starting to wake up and not waste huge amounts money on vehicles that may not be the most practical. It's cool SUV and all, but for price, I'd probably go for a cheap used Jeep or Nissan Xterra.

I think the “market” has adjusted. Time for $20k off the window sticker. Those bastards didn’t hesitate to add $20k to the window sticker during the last 3 years.

Remember when 60k cars were really nice Mercedes and not your average bronco

$98K for a Bronco Raptor that looks like it's a $55K vehicle at the very most.

New car prices are just silly, wages haven’t been going up and we are now seeing the long overdue downwards adjustment, back to what people can afford. Let me know when these drop to $35K.

Too many recalls. Way overpriced. Add to that, greedy dealerships that aren't afraid to stick it to stupid people that go there to buy.

The economy is crappy, the price is too high, and the quality is dubious.

Inflation. A base 2 door started at $28, 995 when these first came out if you ordered one. Quickly shot up to $31, 995 over the next year and a half, but still a bargain. Now the cheapest two door, big bend, is $39, 630. That’s a 33% increase. That’s more than inflation.

Anybody who would pay more than $50, 000 for a Bronco has their head up where the sun don't shine!😮

I am a Toyota guy but I've owned a few Fords... Explorer, Focus, and currently a Mustang. They were fun cars but have never been reliable. Stuff seems like it is always breaking. Wheel bearing, brake light switches, head gasket, timing chain guides... you name it. My Toyota starter finally failed at 250k miles. To even consider paying 100k for these cars is insane.

$100k is a little much for a vehicle with a cardboard roof

If the public can just hold out and let ALL the car manufactures sweat

I bought a new 2023 Big Bend 2 door. When I initally ordered in 2021 it stickered for around 38, 000. A year later I was told by Ford to re-order a 2023. Price had jumped to around 41, 000. Now theyre going for around 46, 000 -47, 000. The common family cant afford these prices.

Remember all the people that bought vehicles around 3 or 4 years ago? For a lot more money than they were worth. Well all these people are way underwater on their loans and when they come in to trade, they find out they owe many thousands of dollars more than their vehicle is worth. So dealers have screwed themselves by ripping off customers years ago and putting them out of the market. For the foreseeable future. Karma is a b*tch!

Very few will go "off road" very often. This is almost purely a "cool car" purchase and to be the first to have one. Well, that ship has sailed.

The folks who paid MSRP plus a "market adjustment" fee are really going to take a huge loss.

The Ford Motor Company has lost its way. Henry Ford understood that you have to make cars affordable. Nowadays, the car companies push for maximum profit, but there is not much profit when they don’t sell because of their outrageous pricing.

For the life of me I can't understand why there will be a $50, 000 disparity between the two trim levels

"High Interest Rates!"

I bought a 2023 four door Black Diamond Package last August, w/a 7 Speed Manual Transmission, 2.3L 4 Cylinder, and a soft-top, for the window sticker price of around $42K.
It was sitting on the lot, w/no dealer mark-up, mainly because it was a manual vs. an automatic. No one locally likes manuals, much less probably know how to even drive them.
No issues to date. Third year production run so hopefully any issues are fixed.
Highway, I've gotten as high as 27 mpg.

Today I looked at a 2 door Bronco Wildtrack with Sasquatch package and Warn winch. $70, 000! If I traded in my 2020 Ranger that has 19, 000 miles on it, I would still be looking at financing around 40k. Makes no sense to go into that kind of debt. I'll keep my paid for Ranger.

anything north of $50k is unattainable to the middle class. period. these days $50k will get you cloth seats, no options.
