Years ago when I first started playing My Grandad and I went out on the small local 9 hole course. I was young and so obsessed with hitting my driver it was all I really was into driving and putting. So he took all my clubs and made me play a round with a pitching wedge and a putter. Was probably one of my more fun rounds I’ve played! Brilliant video as usual

I did this last week with just wedges on 18 holes! So much fun! I used my pitching wedge, 52 degree, 56 degree, and 60 degree. It showed me how to get out of different situations I don’t normally get myself into. I’ll definitely be doing it again!

This reminded me of when I was a high school golf coach in the 70's. I was no great golfer, usually pleased with a 44 or 45 for nine holes, but my nine iron was deadly. I bet my golfers that I could shoot a 45 on a par 36 nine using only my nine iron and putter. With every shot hit straight as an arrow, I got a 44. It's amazing how valuable it is to keep out of the rough and the trees. Made me wonder why I kept on using the other clubs at all.

I watch all Rick's vids over and over again, and I must be honest the best advice that has helped my game over the 2 years I have been playing was to really concentrate on where sternum should be for different shots. Simple but improved my game from never playing golf ever too 21 handicapp. Thanks rick keep the vids coming.

There is wisdom in this method. I did a short course yesterday with a putter, sw, hybrid and small bag for junk. This forced me to manipulate more shots and it made me think harder. I felt a lot better afterwords compared to lugging a 25-30lb bag around. Thanks for everything Rick!
