Actually Rob is right as the word "scone" is derived from the original Saxon word for a small cake "Scoone".

Over the centuries it became "Scone" and the popular mispronunciation of "scon" started in Victorian times, and comes from Scotland, where they have "ston" buildings and walls.

A recent example of how a new mispronunciation can rapidly catch on as a trend is how the word "migraine" can be heard being called a "megraine", though some people determine former to be a really bad headache and the later being a pretend headache to weasel out of something.

relatives corrected me with scornful delight when on a family UK trip i used the common American pronunciation at afternoon tea. When the waitress delivered the lovely things, she announced each item she placed on the table. She was startled at our outburst of laughter at her American-sound when she got too the scones! When we asked for clarification, she opined that she hears both about equally from her family & friends.

Scone is also a town in Australia. (Pronounced with a long o sound.)

hello!
i am surprised how even Finn make cookies
and bring delicious cookies to his colleague, what a man!!
i guess what it made of something.
eggs, flours, salt, sugar, strawberry jam on top of it.
given that i give you some ingredients 
you could find out that i am not able to make a cookies at all. ^_^
