Kenan is a MASTER of comedic timing. He has that rare gift of being "naturally" funny. Many will disagree, but I consider him to be one of the funniest performers in the history of SNL.

Funny thing is, Tina was never really a "new" cast member. She started off as a writer and went straight to Weekend Update.

Tina is hosting the episode and Kenan manages to upstage her in this bit. That is not an easy thing to do. His timing is perfection. He never once seems like he's reading a cue card. If anyone else is playing that role the sketch does not work. That's how good he is.
