SB says different, he says the failed breakout cant be counted as d1 until it breaks the day on the opposite side. Example Mon breaks Fri high then closes under fri high looks like a failed breakout d1, but Stacey says explicitly that it is not a d1 or failed breakout until the low is broken on the other side. When Mon low gets broken then Mon can be considered d1.

The 2 methods between Cam and Stacey contradict and confuse people, I would suggest pick one the learn from and stick to it. I find people that listen to sb methods then come to cam get confused. Then they send SB email about their confusion, then SB gets pissed of and says he doesn't know or understand where people are getting this info.

Cameron, week before last we consolidated on the higher timeframe for two weeks. How does the count start then when we have two consecutive weeks of consolidation ?

Day one will typically be a FGD or FRD, and also a reset in a trend meaning shh shl price closses where it opens.

Friday was an inside day in the eurusd, now fridays high is broken, would that make today on monday day 1?
my question is really about friday being an inside day, where the monday then shows a failed break of fridays inside day high?

"Failed BO over the course of 2 days", 3:51, Did Monday closed inside Friday's range / NOT ? It's not clear on the chart .

Also, on Wednesday there is Failed BO above Monday's high (also the week's high) with 15 min candle body closing outside as well . So the Wednesday should reset the cycle and should be DAY 1 . Isn't it ?

Hi Cam - I pretty much know all the weekly templates but I find it difficult to remember all of them during execution time. I have been practicing SB method for 2 yrs now and I still have trouble with identifying the template in real time. Of course, I am really good at it in hindsight. LOL! I was wondering if this was ever a hurdle for you. If yes, then can you please make a video on how you overcame it.

I found the whole 3 day thing worked best in the US session. I would narrow it down to a few instruments in the london sess then watch maybe 2, any more than that and I missed moves, then I would short a double top at hod that turned into a head and shoulders that turned into a retracement and I would loose 4x my risk only to see the move happen in the US session. Then when I got a move I was so gun shy I would pull out and not make up for the losses, or the one move that happened in London was on a different instrument.
