I was a software engineer for 10 years and quit the profession because it began making me miserable. Building business software is great for the bank and terrible for the self. I've spent 2 years trying to figure out what else to do with my life, trying to find a creative outlet, and then you pop up on my YouTube feed out of nowhere. Now I've started learning Unity, building out an RPG idea I've had for years but always ignored with "nice idea, hopefully somebody thinks of it."

Thanks to you and my accidental 10 year technical course, I understand what I should do with my time and that it's entirely possible for me to bring this idea to life.

Hi there! I've been a big fan of your journey. I also wanted to make video games since my early childhood and your story has reignited my passion.
