Kevin Wildes is out on Jayson Tatum remaining in Nick Wright's Club Superstar after the face of the Celtics failed to force a Game 7, and in the process set an unprecedented Finals record. Tatum now holds the unprecedented record of 100 turnovers in a playoff run. Turnovers were a big reason for the Celtics inability to turn the tide on the Golden State Warriors, and Nick decides if there's still a place for Tatum among the superstars after this heartbreaking finals loss.

This kinda goes back to the thing where so many people seem to think losing in the first round is better than losing in the finals. If Celtics had lost to bucks in game 7 or butler hit that game 7 3 we’d still have Tatum as a superstar with an amazing playoff resume. If you keep advancing and playing against all of the best defenses in the league there’s more chance for something to go wrong.

Draymond Green called out Nick Wright on his podcast from TD Garden’s press room 🤣

Still no mention of how Brown is the real star of the team

If you are what you say you are. A SUPERSTAR! Then have no fear.
Tatum looked scared in the second half. Star not Super.

Wilde’s is right. Kick him out. Just because you have 12 spots, doesn’t mean you must fill them.

I don’t ever want to hear Kobe Bryant and Jayson Tatum mentioned in the same sentence ever again.

Any other “Superstar” would be getting killed if they put together the six games that Jayson Tatum just did. You can’t have the accolades without the criticism.

His drive and tenacity puts him out of club superstar to me but his skills keep him at the door

Thing about Tatum is he did not just play one terrible game, he played terrible the entire series! He’s one of the biggest reasons they got to the finals and all of a sudden, he disappeared. Big credit to the Warriors though for exposing how overrated he really is.

If this was NBA 2K, you can say that Jason Tatum sold the series lol.

Luka had bad moments against the same Warriors, without another all star like Brown and a defensive player of the year like Smart... He had 32/9/6 with 2 40 games and got slandered by many, so Tatum should be criticized even more since this is the finals and he had a way better team

Kobe is now in Jordan territory; each new wing that enters the league will be the next Kobe. Tatum and Booker come to mind now. Just like Jordan clones these guys are not as good as the real thing

I ain't paying for no Jason Tatum concert ticket when I known Al Horford and Jalen Brown are the actual headliners bruh.

i am not a vastly knowledgeable person when it comes to basketball, but just by the eye test, if you would have told me Tatum was their top star and a superstar after the finals were over i would not have believed you. Brown seemed to be that more than him. Tatum shrunk and turned the ball over so many times. He is young and hopefully he can grow to become a star by making this a learning experience.
