Arithmetic: What are Integers (aka Whole Numbers, Counting Numbers, Natural Numbers)

We call them whole numbers, counting numbers, natural numbers...but the mathy-math name is integers. This includes the numbers you use to count things:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and so on...
And the absence of things:
-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, and so on...
And don't forget the number 0 (zero) to say we have exactly NO things.

Every Thursday, we're going to Math Camp! This year, we're learning about ARITHMETIC. We'll learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
