As a 14 year old NodeJS developer I love self hosting because of the amount of money it saves. My budget is small, but I was so happy with my Pi full of Docker containers running open source alternatives to stuff other school kids are paying $10 a month for. I got my Raspberry Pi 3 for my 12th birthday and we had a beautiful 2 years together, but unfortunately he broke from water damage after taking him to a friend’s house. I currently follow your tutorials in a WSL environment.

Got into self hosting because of plex, since then I’ve added other self hosted applications with docker and even have changed my major from mechanical engineering to computer engineering. Love your videos! Not just great tutorials but great way to find self hosted variants that I wouldn’t have known existed otherwise!

self hosting on a pi is very energy efficient and the projects being done on there are a great platform for learning and progressing your skills, which is exactly why I love it

I have been loving the content, they are easy to follow, bite sized and very informative. I have been hosting my own stuff on a raspberry pi 2 and 3 so far and have been enjoying and learning a lot!
