Singapore is a class airline. I always remember the flight from Singapore Manchester to Singapore when i was 5-6 and how they treated you was incredible even though you were child. They had the state of the art IFE systems back then on their 777's aircraft and they gave me and my brother loads of goodies during the flight. one of which was a coloring in mug of a Singapore aircraft and playing cards etc.

Wow a hot meal on a 1 hour 20 minute flight. Flying on US airlines economy is a grind. I am happy to run out after landing. Not only is the leg room crappy but they reduced the number of toilets and made them tiny.

I remember flying SIngapore airlines 747 from SG to HKG way back in 1998(the only time). I was only 12 then, and oh boy I have not come across any other airlines as good as SQ so far. It is THE BEST AIRLINES no doubt about tht! If I ever become a multi millionaire I will always choose SQ! ATM I cant afford their price as other airlines are always cheaper. well you get what u pay for....

Singapore Airlines made their mark on me when I was just 6 years old. Any flights I'd experienced til then were all QANTAS (I'm Aussie) and I thought that was great, then we go overseas one year with SIA and my god it changed everything. I'll never forget the dumbstruck feeling of seeing the in built entertainment systems in the chairs (this was in 2003), games and movies galore for the whole flight which tbh I didn't use much cause I was learning, but man it was so awesome and adventurous. My little sister who was 3 at the time had a breakdown at one point and so one of the attendants brought over this huge as Stitch plush (From Lilo and Stitch) and she got to keep it for the flight, they were a step ahead then and they still are now. If I ever had to chose an international air service, It'd be them.

I shan't lie. I'm Canadian, I've been lucky enough to fly Singapore Airlines twice from FRA-SIN (A380) and HKG-SIN (A330) and both are the best economy flights I've ever had hands down.

The only perk to flying with Air Canada is the Star Alliance partnership and being able to fly with Singapore as well as Turkish Airlines as well.

Would love an economy/business review of Turkish Airlines. Especially when the new airport opens up.

Omg, I had been waiting for so long for this video. I've traveled by Singapore airlines so many times and I just love their service. Quick story- I was traveling to India once and the flight attendants made the announcements in 3 languages. English, Hindi and the local language of the destination. That was an amazing touch from Singapore Airlines. Anyways, great vid! Keep it up!

What a nice reminder of flying! My family and I are based out of Shanghai and have flown Singapore Airlines many dozens of times and have always been consistently impressed with the quality of their service. The aircraft is always spotless. The seats and entertainment system always function correctly (and if it happens to malfunction they REALLY try to get it back up and running as quickly and as seamlessly as possible. And the crew: magnificent!

One aspect that you never think about (until you see it unfold before you) is how the crew respond to emergencies. Serving hot towels and maintaining a smile on a five-hour flight is one thing; responding to a call for help is something entirely different. On a flight from Sydney to Singapore we saw a situation unfold: as the plane was climbing (no more than a minute after take-off) the passenger two rows in front of us pressed the "CALL" button. An older gentleman started feeling chest pain! (Yikes!) Within seconds of learning of the trouble the lead member of the flight crew mobilized three or four other members of his team. The quickly and very efficiently moved the guests sat on either side of him, including the person across the isle) to vacant seats. Then they sat in the seats around him to assess the situation. Fortunately it turned out to be an anxiety attack for a nervous flier (something that probably happens more often than you think) and were able to calm the man down and make him feel more comfortable and relaxed. Tempest in a teapot as it turned out to be I was and still am impressed with how quick and how efficient the entire team moved to address the problem ... and at one of the most awkward times of a flight. For that reason Singapore and any SQ flight sit at the top of our list of prefered carriers.

Love the videos (we've been binge watching them during our lockdown as a means of remembering what it was like to travel). Keep up the great work!

Singapore airlines never miss! I flew them from SIN to HKG/DXB/PER/ICN, they really deserves no.1. They got some outstanding highlights which other airline don't have:1. Menu booklet2. Earphones instead of headphones which are lighter and convenient3. Hot and refreshing towels4. Touchscreen handset on economy (a350/b77W) which only EY QR EK have them5. Unbeatable experienced and friendly crew6. Awesome meals

The crew are always beyond amazing on SIA! I also love that they provide hot towels in economy and the ammenities in the bathrooms such as tooth brush and mouth wash. AND they have 'Singapore Slings' for economy class passengers too!
