Jon Mackenzie analysing a new Man United signing in the exact way you would expect a Leeds fan forced to sit in front of a framed photograph of Eric Cantona to analyse a new Man United signing.

Love that we get snippets that somewhat resemble the TIFO days, but I still desperately miss the manic, unorganised chaos that was the original. BRING IT BACK!

I can't believe we got Yoro, I really thought that was a massive United pipe dream 😁

Buying potential is fine but none of these players will ever meet their potential if they don’t play first team football….at least Brighton play them in their first team

I love these guys, it’s just such a shame that JJ needs to immediately start talking about Chelsea’s rampant capitalism.

It reminds me that I despise top tier modern football, and grew up spoilt with the idea of equality, where Dundee Utd, Aberdeen, Malmo and Red Star reached (and sometimes won) European finals.

Strasbourg were a side Chelsea might’ve met in their Cup Winners’ Cup runs, now they are “owned” by them.

It’s just desperately sad.

I love the sudden ends of this podcasts. And I can't mention enough how much I missed Joe on podcasts.

wasn‘t the high expectations for 80M-100M+ players.. is it now for 50M players bc it’s a Manchester United signing? 11:50

It's not just brazilian law. It's a universal law, that a player can't move to a team outside of his continent until he is 18.

2:00 glad JJ actually touched on the fact that these series of deals between Chelsea, Villa, Everton etc are all basically just convoluted ways of balancing the books for PSR purposes. Hardly seen any journos mention it

Surely players will just eventually stop signing for chelsea when they realise that theyre treated like a business product instesd of an actual human

Problem is your assets have to get game time.

Barcelona definitely can afford Nico Williams, Tebas even gave his blessing to the signing already. He's going there for sure.
