Making something look easy doesn’t mean they dont work hard

It's delusional to think one can be this successful FOR THAT LONG, without working hard. No matter how talented one may be.

Messi works hard when nobody's watching.
There's a point after which it can be too much. He acts casual before games to keep himself calm and carefree and you perform even better with that.

Messi works smarter than he works harder. He knows his ability fully well so he adapts it in his personal training routines. I mean this man is such a prolific dribbler and rarely gets injured through his career. Ask Neymar how easy it is with getting kicked up and down the pitch and stay disciplined. These days whenever I watch a winger trying to beat defenders and they rarely do so. He’s just not a show off about it. I describe Messi as an “enigma” because it’s just incredible how he keeps fit through all those challenges he’s faced that could have ended his career and still bounce back and still make the difference always.

He’s confused. Someone with a gift that doesn’t work hard and you get ronaldinho

Everyone handles games differently. Van Nistelrooy said when he first went to United he was surprised to see Roy Keane so calm in the dressing room just sitting down reading while the other players stretch and warm up getting ready for a game. But once Keane steps foot onto the pitch, he turns into this wild animal 🤣

Bro had already put in hours. He had masterd the things he needed. Saying he hasn't worked hard in his life is disrespectful.

Messi works hard too, he just doesnt post his hardwork and physique on social media everytime. Even when you are gifted, without hardwork nothing is possible and Messi does have a great physique, he just doenst have jacked leg or a jacked body .If you see his matches, the way he just knocks down the defenders with his body is just perfect. You dont need a jacked body everytime, you just need to maintain your health and have your balance. Thats what Messi do, he maintains his health, work hard and perform.

I’m not a Messi fan or Lover but sometimes last year I came across old videos of people like Kaka and Ronaldinho dribbling him in International games and all and how much his game play evolved over the years and I realized that he worked has hard or even harder than Ronaldo to become so good it looks like he isn’t even trying. And that in itself is the reason why people think he’s all talent and not training, because of how effortlessly he does it and I’ve come to appreciate him now that I’m older

Messi works hard as well. He isn't that type who will be posting all he does on social media.
It's just that he is so talented to the extent that he makes it look too easy ❤.

There is no way a player can be this consistent without hardwork and discipline. He might not be working as hard as CR7 but I think he does work hard.

That's True, that's why you see people like vini who obviously idolised Cristiano while he himself said that he prefers Messi as a player ❤😂

I read an article where someone interviewed about 30 players who played with both Messi and Ronaldo in their careers. It was remarkable to see how consistently they referred to Messi as the most gifted player they’d ever seen and Ronaldo as the hardest worker they’d ever seen.
