How to Pick a Lock Without Special Tools

Someone mentioned their bike didn't come with a set of keys, so I decided to see if I could pick the lock on mine. I have no special tools for performing this task, so I just used stuff laying around in my garage. This was the first time I've ever picked a lock.

What if the key lock component is housed separately such that when the top cover four screws are removed, the key lock component is residing in a separate compartment housed in plastic cover adjacent to the main plastic casing? And battery is slided into the battery holder bracket of the ebike?

Hi I 've lost my e-bake battery key it looks similar to yours. it's Lekker X, do you know the lock Brand name so that I can cut a new key by number. or a photo of your key.

Hi I have a shimano steps battery on my ebike but I have lost the keys to open my battery, unfortunately I purchased my bike second hand and I have not been able to contact the previous owner can you please give me any tips to be able to get replacement keys or pick the lock etc etc Thankyou in advance my ebike is a red road sport adventure made in the Czech Republic I think.
