San Diego CHP Lip Sync Challenge, Highway to the Danger Zone

The California Highway Patrol, San Diego CHP Area Office (645) never had any intentions of participating in the Law Enforcement Lip Sync Challenge because our Headquarters in Sacramento, CA had already represented the CHP with a lip sync video that was going to be a very tough act to follow. That was of course until our neighboring office, Oceanside CHP, publicly called us out. Big mistake!! San Diego CHP was up to the challenge and in the spirit of the military town we service, we went with the “Top Gun” theme. The backdrop of our video features the US Navy’s decommissioned aircraft carrier, USS Midway Museum, and The US Navy Blue Angels. We feature other iconic backdrops throughout “America’s Finest City” such as our local beaches, the Coronado Bay Bridge, the San Diego downtown skyline and the Hotel Del Coronado. The men and women from the San Diego CHP featured in this video, are truly dedicated to providing the highest level of safety, service and security to the people of California and specifically, the City of San Diego. So sit back and enjoy your E-ticket ride to the Danger Zone!!

I was stationed in SD in the mid 80's. Watched Top Gun in SD when it first was released. Learned to fly at Montgomery field. Watched up close the F14's doing touch and go's at Miramar. Hung out at all the places in the video. Thank you CHP for absolutely killing this video, and for the woman officers who made this GOLDEN.

This was cool! Cops have a sense of humor too. Always loved San Diego HP. Attended a Law Enforcement seminar there way back for my department. The men and women of the SD CHP work very hard and put their lives on the line every day for the people and the state of California. Loved this video.👍👍👍

I love the fact that these lip sync challenges went viral! Our officer's work constantly to protect us 24/7 and to see them having some fun and being able to be human, makes me enjoy it even that much more! So to all of you who can't let yourself or these officers enjoy themselves, go somewhere else and find something else to bitch about! My hat's off to every agency and officer that takes the time to participate in these videos! Thank you for the laughs, but most of all thank you for risking your life everyday doing a job no one else wants to do or can't do! Thank you for protecting myself, my family and my friends we thank you more than you'll ever know!
